How many guests does Shoreline Cottage sleep?
Shoreline Cottage is a self-catering holiday home for up to 6 guests, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Is the beach within walking distance?
Yes. Follow the road down towards the ocean, turn right at the T junction and then left onto the wooden walkway over the sand dunes. There is also a parking area at the entrance of the walkway.
Does the cottage have a hot tub?
Yes, there is a wood-fired hot tub in the private courtyard, next to the undercover braai area and outdoor shower.
Can we braai at the cottage?
Yes. There is an undercover braai area outside. Braaing in the indoor fireplace is not allowed.
Is the cottage self-catering?
Yes. The kitchen has a stovetop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, crockery and glassware, and there is a washing machine in the kitchen.
Is there parking, internet and TV?
Yes. There is parking, internet access and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.
Where is Shoreline Cottage?
The cottage is at 3135 Murex Street in Langezandt, Struisbaai, in the Overberg region of the Western Cape. It is about four kilometres from Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa, and roughly two hundred kilometres south-east of Cape Town.
Are parties or events allowed?
No. Parties, events and large gatherings are not allowed, and there is no smoking or vaping in the house. Please see our house rules on the Why Us page.
